London has so many choices when it comes to Gordon Ramsay restaurants. Heddon Street Kitchen was a short walk from my flat and high on my list as a dinner spot.
Relaxed, outdoor dining with a more casual vibe than other Ramsay locations I have been to. The menu and food were fantastic as usual.. one of my favorite Ramsay touches that I have found at every one of his restaurants is warm butter with your bread.. it comes on a warm dish for easy spreading. It’s these subtle touches that make his restaurants stand out, in my opinion.
I ate my dinner outside, under a warming lamp so my pictures didn’t come out as well as I had hoped but I had to document my long awaited dinner service anyway.
The appetizers looked so good that I had to order a few : )
The asparagus and prosciutto was my favorite..
A classic meatball dish..
And for dinner, fish and chips. It was a huge serving and it was crispy and delicious.
My favorite part of any meal is dessert and I am always excited to see what a new Ramsay restaurant has to offer. The pineapple, kiwi, passion fruit and lime carpaccio with coconut sorbet was like a taste of heaven. Velvety and melty and sweet with a bit of sour.. oh my goodness! I still think about that dessert : )
And a creme brulee with raspberry sorbet, fun, beautiful and delicious..
To finish off dinner, I have learned when visiting the city, there is always coffee. So I sat at my table, watching the London nightlife, completely satisfied with my Heddon Street Kitchen experience.
