This is my interview with my great grandfather Captain Donald Flowers.
I originally made these questions for both of my great grandparents but my great grandmother wasn’t feeling well so I was only able to talk to him. I chose to ask questions about the love they shared throughout the years and our family. I would definitely interview him more if I can because he’s seen so much and he’s very open to speaking about it. I hope you enjoy his words.

Emphasis is placed on creating an appreciation for the Black community's unique attributes, resources, and contributions to the larger community. Students visit Black community organizations, institutions and/or businesses to identify a critical need and to develop a corresponding action plan.
